Make Yourself At Home is a self-portrait project that explores the concept of identity within the home environment. After the breakup of a long-term relationship, I found myself not only looking for a new home but also a part of myself. I had to seek to redefine the part of my identity that I had drawn from my home, the part that I had lost. By entering the homes of others and dressing myself in their clothes, a 'trying on' of superficial identities takes place and allows me to begin to work out what is and is not me, to redefine myself.
